As vice president of pharmacy and lab services for Advantus Health Partners, Craig Wright leads all efforts for pharmacy and lab through strategic sourcing, integrated logistics, and pharmaceutical procurement, covering more than $1B in annual expense.
Prior to joining Advantus, Craig was system director of pharmacy services, supply chain, for Bon Secours Mercy Health. Craig’s oversight of all pharmacy operational components including labor, automation, and regulatory compliance drove savings of over $25M through standardization and optimization efforts. Craig also served in the development and implementation of an electronic health records platform across 23 acute care settings.
Craig has expertise in delivering advanced technology and analytics solutions that forge standardization and optimization across large health systems, which contributes to lower drug expense and sustained drug availability. Craig has reimagined structure and process to meet the growing challenges presented with drug shortages in the pharmaceutical industry.
Craig earned his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Cincinnati and a Master of Business Administration from Xavier University.
