We are pleased to announce that Shaun Simpson has expanded his leadership responsibilities and will now serve as our Executive Director, Integrated Support Services.
In his new role, Shaun will support account management, member growth, supplier engagement, solution development, operational standardization, and executive advisory services across Advantus Health Partners’ (AHP) member network.
Additionally, Shaun is the subject-matter expert for AHP for Hospitality Services. He provides strategic leadership in hospitality and support service solutions while partnering with health systems to identify performance improvement opportunities and deliver measurable value. He leads initiatives spanning food and nutrition services, environmental services, patient transportation, linen management, parking, retail operations, and other nonclinical support services.
Throughout his career, Shaun has advised executive leadership teams on strategies representing more than $300 million in managed annual spend. He has led complex, enterprise-wide initiatives that improve quality while reducing costs. His experience includes negotiating strategic supplier partnerships, leading large-scale operational transformations, and developing data-driven solutions that strengthen financial performance and operational outcomes.
As Advantus Health Partners continues to evolve its portfolio of member services, Shaun’s leadership will play an important role in helping health systems navigate operational challenges and identify opportunities for sustainable improvement. His expertise in hospitality and integrated support services will help members enhance performance, elevate service delivery, and achieve meaningful results.
