“I am honored to receive this leadership award from GHX,” said Hurry. “As a leader, I strive to be a ‘doer’, and I’m inspired every day about new ways to transform health care through strategic supply chain solutions. But I don’t do it alone. I have a strong team of experts and leaders who are right there with me making sure we continue to bring clinical and financial value to our clients.”
In addition to Hurry receiving the Supply Chain Leadership Award at the GHX Summit, Jimmy Chung, M.D., chief medical officer of Advantus will speak about optimizing physician leadership in supply chain and John Horne, chief strategic sourcing officer at Advantus will participate in a roundtable session about health care supply chain operations thought leadership.
