Technological advancements, improved product design, and a fellow physician’s recommendation are some common reasons for submitting new product requests within a health care system. Improper management of these requests can result in loss of revenue, mistrust of the supply chain, and non-compliance with the process.
The breakout session will walk through the four classes of new product requests, the critical aspects of new products algorithms, and the three primary benefits of the new product request cascade: Reduction in new product request project lengths, process clarity for the supply chain team and requestors, and improved collaboration from physician’s and clinical leads.
