Roycroft will advance market impact of the end-to-end supply chain solutions company
CINCINNATI, Ohio (Dec. 18, 2024) —Advantus Health Partners recently appointed Rick Roycroft to the role of chief commercial officer for the end-to-end supply chain solutions company. Roycroft will oversee business development strategies and tactics that support growth for Advantus, which was founded in 2021 and currently serves health facilities across 27 states. Advantus recently secured a prestigious #3 rank in the U.S. for health care supply chain leadership from Gartner, Inc. The ranking is designated for the health system parent company of Advantus, Bon Secours Mercy Health.
“Rick is an incredible addition to our leadership team,” said Dan Hurry, president, Advantus Health Partners. “Since launching Advantus in 2021, our mission has been to transform industry norms – moving supply chain from transactional to strategic – and we believe Rick will enhance our ability to grow and serve more hospitals and health systems.”
Roycroft brings a strong background in health care operations and supply chain leadership to this role at Advantus. Previous positions include serving as managing director at Huron Consulting Group, and executive roles at MedAssets, AmerisourceBergen (now Cencora), VHA Inc., and Premier Inc.
“Joining the Advantus team at this time will allow me to leverage my industry experience with some of the larger companies in this space,” said Roycroft. “I am excited about supporting the future growth for Advantus, and developing strategies that will allow us to bring our solutions to health systems at a time when they need new and improved ways to reduce financial pressures, improve clinical outcomes and have a resilient, reliable supply chain.”
