Supply Chain Coordinator for Perrysburg Hospital
Why do you love being in supply chain for the health care industry?
My mother was a former employee and she would often talk about her job. After that, I felt great knowing I was taking part in helping all the patients who were in the hospital get well.
Why did you choose your area of specialty and what is the most rewarding aspect of practicing in your discipline?
I choose this area of specialty because it gave me a chance of applying all that I was taught from the people working across each specialty of the supply chain. I was able to use all that knowledge to build and design different inventory areas at each of the BSMH locations throughout the region at one time and to build the entire supply system in Perrysburg.
How are you/will you live life differently now having experienced everything you’ve gone through with the pandemic?
My life will continue differently outside of work because of the pandemic. But I’m confident in the structure BSMH has applied throughout the region to keep us all safe. If we all pull together, we can get through this.
