Who we are

Advantus Health Partners is a subsidiary of Bon Secours Mercy Health, the fifth largest Catholic health care system in the U.S. We bring years of expertise in supply chain and health care to the table. Our goal is to deliver more than conventional approaches to health care supply chain needs.

Yes, our roots are in supply chain and, yes, we offer traditional solutions, such as cost reduction, top quartile pricing, member benefits and an expansive product portfolio.

But we also recognize that GPOs often fail to deliver on value. That’s why we embrace the next generation of supply chain, one that is clinically aligned, digitally driven and focused on innovation. Health care supply chains should consist of an army of doers collaborating fiercely to meet the unique needs of health care organizations.

Our history

Our work improving supply chain began in 2016 under Mercy Health and continued after the merger of what is now Bon Secours Mercy Health. We focused on consolidation efforts and standardizing timelines.

We leveraged scale for contracting, aligned strategic partnerships, built upon best practices and integrated an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to maximize value and achieve the best price.

After the Bon Secours Mercy Health merger, we realized that the transactional GPO was no longer the best solution. In 2021, we created Advantus Health Partners as an independent LLC. Our goals remain the same: to support the supply chain needs of health care organizations with innovative solutions.
